I was diagnosed with very advanced and invasive Breast Cancer in July 2021 and I met Anna in January 2024 through ‘Working with Cancer’ 1-2-1 Coaching for employees.

My chemo nurse recommended it because I was very worried about how I would manage the expectations at my workplace, the change in the dynamic with my work colleagues and managers after my diagnosis. Facing having a new boss and feeling like starting a new job Anna was there for me every step of the way. She was so helpful and supportive. Anna is honestly one of the nicest and professional people I’ve ever met! She has endless enthusiasm and passion that is so obvious in the work that she does.

I am now almost 4 years post diagnosis and back to work and she helped me through my very challenging phased return and the problems I had to face on a daily basis. More recently she supported me through my flexible working request and I am happy to say that this was successful.

Working with Anna has truly been transformational, and I have achieved one of my biggest goals.

Anna was absolutely the right person to work with me. She is an incredible coach, she showed endless patience when I was feeling stuck and avoiding taking action. She encouraged me to believe in myself when I really didn’t have the energy.

When I began my coaching sessions with Anna, I was feeling discouraged, despondent and stuck in my career. Anna helped me realise what was causing my unhappiness and helped me find the confidence to move to a more fulfilling role giving me a better work/life balance. She supported, guided, and encouraged me all the way along the process up to starting my first day. I’ve achieved the balanced work and family life I always craved.

Anna has really helped me to understand and clarify the things that I am struggling with, and how to move forward in that area. She is an amazing listener and asks thought provoking questions that really helped me to unravel my thoughts and identify how I was feeling. Anna’s non-judgemental listening encourages a space in which you can confidently explore different ideas and options and then resolve on the best next steps.

The thing that has comforted me most in 2021 is the coaching from Anna which gave me a safe space to reflect and plan what was best for me personally and professionally.

Anna helped me find direction and reignited my motivation to start up my own business when I had lost my focus. She helped me overcome confidence issues, which were holding me back, and helped me get back on track to pursue my ambition.

I thought I knew myself pretty well, until I worked with Anna. I’ve learnt so much about myself which has helped me make changes and find more purpose in my life. I’ll always remember her mantra, “get comfortable with being uncomfortable”.

My recent coaching session with Anna Dunn really helped me to see the things that are preventing me from moving forwards in an area of my life where I felt quite negative and a bit stuck. I found her warm, compassionate and easy to talk to. She was also really good at challenging me with her questions in an assertive but gentle manner. I now feel motivated and excited to make changes in my life.
